EARRINGS
These wooden earrings are incredibly light and assembled with nickel-free hooks (I have sensitive ears so everybody gets hypoallergenic hooks!) I design my earrings in Photoshop and cut them out with a CAMFive laser at the Fort Collins Creator Hub (a community makerspace). My thicker, 5mm wooden earrings, are made from walnut, mahogany, cherry, and maple wood purchased from Sears Trostel in Fort Collins, CO. The thinner 1-2mm earrings are made from bubinga, purple heart, red heart, wenge, walnut, and maple wood purchased from Woodcraft in Loveland, CO.
I'm experimenting with leather earrings as well! Thanks to all who have donated to my scrap leather pile! Special thanks to my Grandma who scoured Goodwill on senior discount day to find some colorful leather!
